Even though we are a week into February, this really does seem like the fresh start that we all hoped January would be. I’ve got plenty of plans for this month and I really wanted to write them down for future reference – I also really enjoy these types of posts!
Despite the freezing cold, I’m enjoying the last weeks of winter (I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to some sunshine though). Here’s what I have planned for the next month.
01. Get into a fitness routine. I’ve already started getting my ass into shape and I’m super pumped. My fitness is on the floor so I’m starting by doing The Body Coach workouts and then adding in some yoga and weights. I’m lucky that my sister is also getting into fitness – It’s much more motivating having a workout buddy! We’re thinking of going to a class soon but if I can keep up my routine for the rest of the month, I’ll be happy.
02. Save for a new car. Another goal I’ve started working on. My current car broke last month so I still need to get it fixed. But, I really hate driving it. I rushed into getting a car when I passed my test and I seem to have ended up with wheels from hell. Its really knocked my confidence but I’m going to take my time getting back into driving and not put too much pressure on myself. Fingers crosses I’ll have a deposit by March.
03. Land a guest post. I’m planning on expanding my writing portfolio with more health content so landing a few guest post slots would help. I’ve written about guest posting before and I plan creating an updated post soon. I’m really interested in health/medical writing and I’ve already got a few ideas for what I’d like to do for a PHD.
04. Go on a date night. I’ve been with my boyfriend Gaz for almost three years and we rarely go on date nights these days. We’re not into valentines day but we trying to fit in a cute date night this month as its been ages. There’s loads of places in Manchester that we haven’t been to yet so we might try something new.
I feel like I’m super busy this month. I’ve also got to sort out my office as I’ve just added a new cabinet, and I’ve got some meal prepping ideas to try out.
