For busy women who cant commit to spending time in front of the mirror, beauty fixes that offer a speedy solution are the perfect answer. One area that tends to need a little TLC are the eyes. If you’re like me and suffer from tired looking eyes and dark circles, applying a little makeup is just whats needed to look human.
Despite having limited time for makeup application, I alway spend the longest on my brows. Your brows define your whole face, so a lil grooming can make a huge difference. Once I’ve filled in my brows with a dark powder or Anastasia’s Dip Brow Pomade, I use a coat of the RMK Eyebrow Gel*, a clear brow mascara that keeps the hairs in shape throughout the day.
This wand is ideal for taming the smallest hairs, especially in the arch of the brow.
For adding brightness to the eye area, I like to use the NYX Hydra-Touch Brightener in radiance. This pink toned pencil helps to make your eyes look wide awake and refreshed. This creamy pencil can be used under the waterline and in the inner corners of the eyes. Blend out with a small blending or buffing brush and you’ll have a subtle soft glow, creating an illuminated look.
For those with dark circles or small eyes, using a black liner on your bottom lash line appears harsh. Instead, I opt for a brown or beige liner like the Maybelline Master Drama The Nudes Liner in pearly taupe. This super soft, creamy eyeliner is long lasting and can also be used on the lids as a cream shadow pencil. Pearly taupe is a beautiful metallic taupe hue that looks especially flattering on brown eyes. There are only three shades in the Maybelline Master Drama range but all are highly wearable.
