Soap & glory are currently celebrating their 10th birthday. Despite seeming like they’ve been around for much longer, I’ve become rather partial to their makeup line. Affordable, good quality and on trend, there’s little not to like about the ever expanding S&G cosmetics range.
If you’re heading to Boots this weekend, or planning a lil’ online shopping spree, these 5 products are highly recommended.
Soap & Glory Top 5
Sexy Mother Pucker
If you have an aversion to lip gloss then you may be thinking this won’t be for you, but hear me out. Sexy Mother Pucker boasts lip plumping technology that’ll give you Kylie Jenner-esque lips without forking out for surgery. This hydrating, smooth gloss has a hint of stickiness, but for an easy to wear lip colour, and a little tingle (seriously, you’ll feel the buzz on your lips with this one), it’s one of my preferred lip products.
Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayon
For those who don’t like sticky or lip plumping gloss, these were the bomb! I say ‘were’ as these seem to have been replaced by the smaller gloss sticks – which I haven’t tried, but I’m guessing they’ll be similar. For £3.50, I’ll pick one up next time I’m in Boots (you can tell I didn’t do my research before taking this photograph!)
It’s All About Prime
Primers are really underrated! If you suffer from oily eyelids like I do, then a shadow primer is a must have! It’s All About Prime is available in two shades (and its currently just £2 – go, go, go!!!). I have the bright light primer, which is perfect if you suffer from redness or discolouration around your lids. While I don’t find this is the best for oily lids, I’d recommend it for anyone wanting crease free, smooth colour.
This fine pointed black liner pen is a great choice if you have unsteady hands or are a complete noob! For me, this rivals higher priced brands as it leaves precise, long lasting colour. You can achieve a very thin line or build up for a thicker wing. Either way, its a steal!
A multi-toned product, perfect for luminous skin, Peach Party is ideal for both highlighting and blush. I prefer to use this as a pretty highlighter due to its shimmer, which is a little intense for a natural look. However, the peach, gold and copper hues give a beautiful glow that’s highly flattering on a range of skin tones.
